SAINT JOHN – Canada’s Ambassador to the United States believes Atlantic Canada can have a strong energy future as a provider for customers south of the border.
Gary Doer addressed the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council today in Saint John.
Doer says the Atlantic provinces need to work together to generate and market renewable energy, electricity, and nuclear power.
Doer says, “I do believe there will continue to be increased opportunity and increased market for your product.”
Doer says the region should deal directly with its customers, rather than starting in Washington.
