N.S. gas prices climb slightly

There’s been a slight jump in the price of fuel this week.

As predicted, the price of gas is up 1.2 cents, to a new self-serve regular price of $1.07.6 per litre in metro.

The cost of diesel went up by 1.5 cents to a maximum price of $1.08.9.

Current gas prices are just about on par with the price this time last year. They’re only a penny more now.

The latest difference between Halifax and cheaper Saint John, New Brunswick gas prices is now up to 6.7 cents-a-litre.
