House damaged in early morning shooting

Police are looking for a couple of suspects following an early Friday morning shooting on Romans Avenue.
Officers were called to a home in the area around 1:30 a.m. where a resident reported a bullet had struck her home.
Halifax police Staff Sgt. Barb Saunders says fortunately, no one in the home was hurt.
“It appears the bullet entered the residence,” she said. “No occupants of that residence were injured in any way.”
A search of the area turned up a man who’d been assaulted. He told police shots were also fired during the altercation.
Saunders says the shooting involves people who knew each other.
“Currently we’re believing it’s not a random act,” she said. “That there was some association between the parties.”
The suspects are described as two men wearing masks.
