Man stabbed during fight

Regional police say a man wound up in hospital with non-life threatening injuries after he was stabbed during a fight.

Staff at the QE2 emergency room called police around 7:30 Tuesday night when the man showed up for treatment.

The victim wouldn’t cooperate with officers and refused to give a statement but police were able to figure out the stabbing happened around 5 p.m. near Cragg Avenue and Uniacke Street.

It appears the man got into a scuffle with several others and was stabbed.

Police are still investigating.
