Authorities probe suspicious house fire in Cape Breton

Authorities are investigating a suspicious fire at a home in Cape Breton on Saturday night.
Police and firefighters say no one was home at the time of the blaze in Point Edward, near Sydney.
Police say the fire caused significant damage to the home at 3061 Point Edward Highway.
An investigation is being conducted by an inspector with the provincial fire marshal’s office and the police.
