Sexual assault victim knew her attacker

Police say a Halifax-area woman who was sexually assaulted Saturday knew her attacker.

RCMP say officers were dispatched to a foot path near Glendale Drive in Lower Sackville at 3:30 a.m.

The 37-year-old victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are asking for the public’s help as they continue their investigation.
