A Great White Shark was caught off the coast of Nova Scotia in the Bay of Fundy. What’s more interesting is Great Whites don’t usually make it this far North. We chat with shark specialist Steve Campagna. Lots of controversy surrounding medical benefits for people on disability in Nova Scotia. The province is cutting services not covered by MSI or medicare. We chat with Community Services Minister Denise Peterson-Rafuse. Seems like some Halifax councillors are getting cold feet over a new stadium after the premier said there’d be no funding from that level of government. We ask Bedford councillor Tim Outhit if he’s still gung-ho for a stadium. A historic covered bridge in Coldstream, New Brunswick was the victim of arson this week. We chat with William Crouch who says the bridges are easy targets for arsonists.
