Police are looking for a man who’s been spray-painting bank machines.
“On Sunday morning, at approximately 7:30am, a man entered the Royal Bank on George Street in downtown Halifax and proceeded to spray-paint a number of the bank machines, essentially rendering them inoperative,” said Halifax Constable Brian Palmeter.
Palmeter says the culprit is white, in his late 20s, average height, medium build, wtih short dark hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and shoes with no socks.
He was wearing a scarf over the lower half of his face, but his nose and eyes are clearly visible on surveillance tape. Palmeter says police know someone else went into the bank as the suspect was leaving. They are trying to identify that person.
