Suspicious package found at RCMP E Division Headquarters

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Vancouver Police have blown up a suspicious package found at RCMP E Division Headquarters this afternoon and are now examining its contents.
The package was left on a grass boulevard outside the building at 37th Ave. and Heather St. earlier this evening.
The area was cordoned off while members of the VPD and the RCMP Explosive Device Unit examined the item.
Officers are now canvassing the area for witnesses.
It is unclear what the package contained and who may have left it there.
