Police kept busy with multiple assault calls Sunday night

It was a violent Sunday night it the city, with several separate incidents.
The first happened when an argument between two groups of people on a Metro Transit bus resulted in a 35-year-old man being attacked.
Police say it happened at 7:15pm on a bus in Dartmouth Crossing.
Officers report there was a disturbance between two groups that started off of the bus which continued when they got on the bus.
That’s when the 35-year-old man was assaulted by two young offenders.
The man sustained a cut to his face and was treated at the scene by EHS and a knife was recovered at the scene.
Two young offenders are in custody and will be appearing in court at a later date to face charges of assault with a weapon, theft and breaching a court order.
The second incident came as an unwelcome surprise for two 15-year-olds who were walking on a trail in the Herring Cove Road and Sussex Drive area.
Police say the trail was dark and just after 8:00 an unknown person approached the two teens and sprayed them both in the face with some kind of pepper spray.
The teens ran to a local restaurant and police and EHS were called.
The victims weren’t seriously injured but they didn’t see the suspect who spayed them.
In the third case, a taxi driver became the victim of a vicious attack just before 9:30.
Police say the cabbie was dispatched to pick up a fare on Stone Ave in Dartmouth.
As he was sitting on the street, two men approached his vehicle.
One of them was armed with a long wooden pole and that man began to strike the cab with the pole, smashing the driver’s side window.
The attacker then attempted to strike the driver when the pole broke.
The driver was able to grab a piece of the pole and fend off the 2 suspects who fled the area on foot.
The 45-year-old taxi driver sustained minor injuries.
Police are still on the hunt for the suspects.
The first is described as a white male, approximately 6’1, medium build but not muscular with a thin chin strap style facial hair. He had light coloured, medium length hair, a round face and was between the ages of 17-20. He was wearing a bright blue t-shirt with no designs or writings and long baggy jean shorts that were below his knees.
The second suspect is a white male described as very tall and skinny. He was wearing a white hoodie with small black crosses all over it the hood up and dark pants and had a dark colored bandana and sun-glasses covering his face.
Finally, police are looking for two suspects who are alleged to have entered a home on Walter Havill Drive, produced a handgun and then made off with the TV.
It happened shortly after 10pm.
There were four men in the home at the time of the robbery, but no one was injured.
Police say it’s not a random act and that the victims knew at least one of the suspects.
