Three men facing charges after armed robbery

Halifax Regional Police have three men in custody after an armed robbery in metro.
The robbery happened late Sunday night on Walter Havill Drive in Halifax.
Two suspects broke into a home, threatened four people inside with a gun and stole a TV.
Police say the break-in wasn’t random and the victims knew one of the suspect.
Around 8 p.m. Sunday, police officers executed two search warrants related to the robbery and recovered the gun and stolen property.
Three men were arrested during the search and are due in court this morning facing robbery, extortion, drugs and firearms charges.
Police also investigated two attempted robberies and three armed assaults in Halifax on Sunday and Monday.
