Latest three-month outlook reiterates predictions for warm, dry summer

Two major weather forecasting agencies are reiterating forecasts for a warmer, drier summer in the Maritimes.
The Weather Network and Environment Canada have both released new three-month outlooks, showing above-average temperatures and below-average rainfall.
However, News 95.7 meterologist Richard Zurawski cautions that a weather prediction is just that – a prediction.
“This is just an outlook, and it’s kind of fun,” he said. “They did forecast a very mild and dry winter, and that’s what we got. But this is sort of a 50-50 product.”
As for the recent cold, damp weather, Zurawski says conditions will improve towards the end of the week, with a return to sunshine and teperatures in the low to mid-twenties by the weekend.
