Police investigate separate purse-snatching incidents

Halifax police are investigating a pair of purse-snatching incidents.
The first happened just after midnight Saturday morning outside of 15 Wentworth Street in Dartmouth.
The female victim stepped outside for a cigarette when a man with a hood pushed her and took off with her purse.
The suspect is described as a man in his twenties, wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants.
The second incident happened just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning near Church and South streets in Halifax.
A man grabbed a woman’s purse and took off running.
The suspect in that case is described as black man in his thirties, wearing a black jacket and black toque.
