Buskerfest 2013 hits Halifax

Buskerfest is underway in Halifax.

300 shows will happen over the next six days, each day from noon until 10 p.m.

Director Christina Edwards says aside from the performers, there’s some new additions to this year’s event.

“Lego and YTV have an amazing set up going on down towards the salter parking lot by the sand pit,” explained Edwards. “We also have a brand new stage at Bishop’s Landing.”

Edwards adds there are some great local food trucks set up for this year’s festival.
