Five men arrested after Halifax home invasion

Five men are in custody after a home invasion near the Halifax Common.
It happened just before 4 a.m. this morning on Allan Street.
A 30-year-old man was at home alone when the thieves kicked in his apparetment door and stole his TV and some jewelry.
The suspects took off in a car but the man, who wasn’t injured in the incident, was able to give police a description.
It only took officers 15 minutes to track the suspects down on the Bedford Highway, near Southgate Drive.
No charges have been laid yet but a 21, 35, 37, 38 and 40-year-old were all arrested.
The stolen property was recovered.
