One dead, three injured after crash in Colchester

COLCHESTER – One man is dead and three others seriously injured after a single vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Colchester County.

According to RCMP, a Honda accord was travelling on Coldstream Road around 3 a.m. when it left the road, rolled and hit a culvert.

One of the passengers, a 19-year-old man from Coldstream, died at the scene.

Two others, a 20-year-old man from Stewiacke and an 18-year-old man from Brookfield were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver, an 18-year-old from Brookfield, was first taken to Colchester hospital but has since been transported to the QEII in Halifax with life-threatening injuries.

RCMP notes the stretch of Coldstream Road from addresses 1000-1050 will be closed for most of the day Sunday.
