CHICAGO — Grain futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery was up 3 cents at $5.0760 a bushel; Dec. corn lost 4.4 cents at $3.656 a bushel; Dec. oats rose 1 cent at $2.9320 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans fell 3.2 cents at 8.8920 a bushel.

Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec.live cattle was off .09 cent at $1.1490 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle fell 1.73 cents at $1.4727 a pound; Dec. lean hogs was up 1.47 cents at .5915 a pound.
