Shane Starrett with 25-save shutout, Bakersfield blanks Manitoba 4-0

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Shane Starrett made 25 saves as the Bakersfield Condors shut out the Manitoba Moose 4-0 on Saturday in American Hockey League action.

Joe Gambardella paced the Condors (10-8-1) offence with a goal and two assists while Logan Day, Cooper Marody and Patrick Russell also scored.

Mikhail Berdin stopped 37-of-40 shots for the Moose (10-11-1).

Bakersfield went 1 for 4 on the power play while Manitoba failed to score on two chances with the man advantage.
