Police investigating robbery at Bluenose Mini Mart

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred at the Bluenose Mini Mart in Fairview.
Officers responded to the report and arrived at the convenience store, on the corner of Titus Street and Evans Avenue, at 12:01 a.m. on Sept. 28.
The suspect is described as a white male, around 5'5″ and between 20- to 30-years-old. He was wearing a grey hooded sweater, dark coloured pants, a dark blue baseball cap with a light blue trim and brown dress shoes.
He reportedly entered the store, took out a knife and demanded the clerk give him cartons of cigarettes and money from the cash register. He was then last seen fleeing on foot towards Evans Avenue.
The employee wasn't injured.
HRP says the investigation is in its early stages and investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating.
