MONCTON, Canada (AP) _ OrganiGram Holdings Inc. (OGI) on Monday reported a loss of $28.7 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.
The Moncton, Canada-based company said it had a loss of 15 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 3 cents per share.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for a loss of 3 cents per share.
The cannabis producer posted revenue of $15.2 million in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $14.8 million.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $101.4 million, or 59 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $64.6 million.
The company’s shares closed at $1.33. A year ago, they were trading at $2.69.
