Break-in at Halifax photography store

The search is underway for a suspect after a Halifax photography store was broken into overnight.

Halifax Regional Police said officers responded to a break and enter at Atlantic Photo on Pepperell St. just after midnight.

As officers arrived, the suspect fled. Police have not yet been able to locate the suspect, only described as a man wearing dark clothing and blue gloves.

HRP said some photo lenses were stolen.

Police add this is the second such break and enter in recent times, with the first happening on Mar. 27 when photo equipment was also stolen. It's not clear if both incidents involved the same suspect.
