4 people face multiple weapons charges following searches in Dartmouth

Regional police have charged four people with a slew of weapons-related offences.

On Thursday at roughly 8:15 p.m., officers searched a home on Fernhill Drive in Dartmouth in connection to a firearms investigation.

Police say they arrested a man and a woman, seizing a firearm in the process.

Later that evening, police searched another home on Newcastle Street where they arrested another man and woman while seizing another firearm.

Those arrested in both cases include:

Travae Kadeem Veldas Tynes, 30
Jessica Sandra Tynes, 50
Francis Delvin Kendal Tynes, 31
Lajuana Jakiera Bruce, 30

All were scheduled to appear in court on Friday to face multiple firearms related charges, including possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, among many others.
