Power outage in Burnside area due to damaged equipment

A power interruption near the end of the morning community in a busy industrial park Monday morning

According to Nova Scotia Power, the outage affected an area from the intersection of Burnside Drive and Highway 107 south to Highway 111, mainly to the east of Burnside Drive.

The utility said the outage impacted about 500 customers and listed the cause as damage to overhead equipment.

NSP restored power just after 10:00 a.m.
