Cannabis seized from unlicensed storefront in Cole Harbour : RCMP

RCMP say they seized a significant amount of cannabis, cannabis products and cash during a search in Cole Harbour.

The Halifax District Street Crime Enforcement Unit searched what they say was an unlicensed cannabis storefront on Caldwell Rd. Thursday.

Mounties say they're taking a measured approach to address the sale of unlicensed cannabis in the Halifax area.

“Increasing complaints and concerns about the products being sold and the potential sale to youth prompted the police action at these storefronts,” they said in a news release. “Our goal is to have the unlicensed storefronts cease operations.”
