Winter parking ban not going away early

Looks like the overnight winter parking ban is here until the bitter end — no matter how nice it may look outside.
There is no shortage of people who don’t like the winter parking ban. One man going so far as to call it “stupid.” Others are just frustrated.
“It’s just really ridiculous,” said one woman. “It made me really angry, actually, when I found out about (it).”
The point person on the overnight winter parking ban is Ken Reashor, HRM’s one-man traffic authority.
“Unless there’s, you know, phenomenal weather then I don’t think we would consider taking it off,” Reashor told News95.7.
The ban is scheduled to end Friday, March 12th. However the city can ticket and/or tow vehicle that impede snow removal any time of the year.
