Amherst students suspended for smoking pot

AMHERST, NS – No criminal charges have been laid but 22 students at Amherst Regional High School have been suspended following a drug bust at the school.

The students were arrested on Friday for smoking dope in the school’s parking lot.

A small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia was seized.

Police conducted the raid after receiving an anonymous complaint.
