No change in N.S. gas prices

Nova Scotia drivers will pay the same for gas this week as they did last week.

As predicted, regulated prices did not change overnight from $1.07.6 for a litre of self-serve regular in metro.

Diesel prices, however, rose 2.2 cents a litre to $1.06.7 – surprising, considering the big drop in oil prices, which are more closely tied to diesel prices.

At this time last year, diesel was selling for 85.9 cents a litre in metro, while gas was going for 96.3.

That’s about the same price they’re paying in Toronto today.
