Canucks show off their Super Skills

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Canucks held its Super Skills competition today in front of a sold out crowd at the Rogers Arena, and the fans got to witness their favourite team battle one another in a spirited competition.
In the three-on-three game, Team Blue led by Cory Schneider defeated Roberto Luongo’s Team Green 4-2.
The puck control relay was a tie between both teams.
Mason Raymond took the fastest skater for the second year in a row, with a time of 13.632 seconds.
Sami Salo owns the team’s hardest shot. The big Finn clocked in at 101.5 miles per hour. Reigning champion Alex Edler was unable to defend his title due to injury.
Alex Burrows won the shot accuracy event over Mikael Samuelsson.
Team Blue won the power play event 4-3.
In the breakaway event, Team Green won 5-3.
In the end, it was Team Blue who were the overall winners on the day with a score of 16-14.
