Annapolis Valley school bus drivers consider strike action

School bus drivers in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley are considering strike action.

Two days of negotiations between the Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union Local 98 and First Student Canada broke down earlier this week, despite the aid of a conciliator.

The main issue is wages.

If the bus drivers reject the final offer, a strike could occur before the end of October.
