HRM’s overnight winter parking ban is in effect until further notice. In addition vehicles interfering with snow clearing operations are subject to being ticketed and towed under Sec 139 of the Motor Vehicle Act.
The following is a list of weather-related closures and cancellations for Friday, Jan. 27. This information is updated as it is received.
– All schools in the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board (Kings, Annapolis, West Hants) closed. Regional office and work sites open.
– All schools in Chignecto Central Regional School Board (Colchester, Pictou, Cumberland, East Hants) closed.
– All schools in South Shore Regional School Board (Queens, Lunenburg) closed. Any exams scheduled for today will be written on Monday.
– Tri-County Regional School Board has closed all schools in Digby County. All schools in Yarmouth and Shelburne counties are open.
– Our Lady of Schools in Halifax is closed for the day.
– Centre Scholaire de la Rive Sud in Cookville is closed for the day.
– Ecole Rose des Vents in Greenwood is closed for the day.
– All CSAP schools in HRM (Bois Joli, Carrefour, Sommet, Beaubasin, and Ecole de Beau Marais) are closed for the day.
