Man dies after falling from apartment window

Regional police say a man who fell from a third-storey apartment overnight has succumbed to his injuries.
Officers were called to Dresden Row near Clyde Street around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, where witnesses reported a man was lying bleeding on the sidewalk.
It was initially believed he’d been assaulted, but officers spotted a third-storey apartment window open above where the man was found. It’s now believed the man fell out of it.
He was rushed to the QEII in critical condition and passed away Friday morning.
Police spokesperson Cst. Holly Smith tells News 95.7 there was no one else in the apartment at the time the man fell from the window, and the death is not considered suspicious.
The Medical Examiner’s office is now investigating.
