RCMP investigating attempted murder in Timberlea

RCMP say they are investigating an attempted murder after shots were fired at a vehicle in Timberlea on the weekend.

Tantallon RCMP say they received a complaint of shots being fired in the area of Brentwood Avenue and St. Margarets Bay Road in Timberlea on Saturday night around 11 p.m.

Officers responded to the scene but couldn’t find any victims or witnesses.

Police ended up getting a call on Sunday from a truck owner saying there were bullet holes in the truck.

It was later determined that there was a verbal dispute between the truck owner and another person, that resulted in shots being fired at the vehicle.

Police are continuing to investigate and asking anyone with information to please contact them.
