Regional police are investigating a robbery that took place in Halifax Monday night.
Police said shortly after 8 p.m., officers responded to a robbery that had just taken place at the intersection of Harvard Street and Lawrence Street where a youth was approached by four suspects who threatened him and demanded his property.
The victim wasn’t physically injured and the suspects fled the area in a vehicle.
According to HRP, they located the vehicle roughly 15 minutes later on Pryor Street and arrested the four suspects without incident, seizing a loaded handgun in the process.
Three 18-year-old men and a 17-year-old male youth were held in custody overnight.
They were scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Tuesday to face robbery and weapons charges.
