Higher fuel prices in N.S. heading into the weekend

Nova Scotia woke up to higher fuel prices on Friday.

The Nova Scotia Energy Board has pushed the price of regular self-serve gas up to 134.5, which amounts to a jump of a cent and a half.

Diesel seeing a more significant increase with the price going up more than five cents to 179.4 cents per litre.

That move follows a decision on Wednesday by the provincial regulator to invoke the interrupter clause and raise diesel prices by 6.7 cents.

One year ago, we were paying 1.63 for gasoline and 1.91 for diesel.
