Gas prices expected to drop

Regulated gas prices will take a small dip this week.

News 95.7 is predicting a drop of about 1.5 cents a litre when prices are reset at midnight.

That will move the price of regular self-serve to about $1.02 in metro for the next
week. At this time last year, we were paying 78.8 cents a litre.

In New Brunswick, prices edged up overnight by less than half a penny. Gas is now selling for about a dollar a litre in most places.
