A record breaking Easter weekend

This Easter weekend will be accompanied by some beautiful weather.

News 95.7 meteorologist Richard Zurawski says we broke the previous record high yesterday as temperatures climbed to a high of 17.

He says we can expect more records to be shattered today and tomorrow.

“Looking a daytime high on Saturday of 20 degrees, the old record was around 16,” he said. “So it’s substantially warmer and Sunday will be another record day. Temperatures should be in the 21 or 22 degree range. The old records are around 15 or 16 degrees.

Zurawski says you should cover up or use some sun screen if you plan on being outside in the next few days.

He says the warm weather is being felt all across Canada. Records were set yesterday in several cities including Ottawa, Montreal, and Fredericton.
