Candlelight vigil for missing couple

A candlelight vigil will be held near Edmonton Saturday evening for an elderly couple missing for three weeks.

Lyle and Marie McCann left their St. Albert home July 3rd in their motorhome, bound for B.C., but have not been seen since.

The burned-out vehicle was found two days later 200-kilometres west of Edmonton.

Among those who will attend the vigil is the McCann’s son, Bret.

A person of interest in the case, Travis Vader, has been questioned about the disappearance and remains in custody.

So far, RCMP have not charged anyone in relation to the couple’s disappearance.
