Government launches website for public input on auto insurance

The Dexter government wants to hear from you as part of its review of auto insurance rates in the province. The Department of Finance has set up a website to collect that input.

Former Deputy Minister, Ron L’Esperance is leading the review. He says response from the public is a very important part of the whole process.

“They’ll be looked at in the context of the overall review and utilized in the final report that we produce for the government and for the minister,” L’Esperance explains. “So, it’s really an attempt to engage the broader, general public on issues of interest and concern to them in respect to the auto insurance file.”

The deadline for submissions is Feb. 25.
