Gas prices continue to soar in HRM

While most people are getting a break from work on Good Friday, there’s no break at the pumps.

Regular gasoline is up about $0.02/litre selling at $1.352 in HRM. Diesel fuel is priced at $1.314 at most retailers.

In regulated New Brunswick, regular self-serve went up by $0.019 Wednesday night, while diesel prices fell by just under one cent.

According to price tracker website, www.gasbuddy.com, the average price across Canada right now is $1.303/litre. A year ago today, that average was $1.03.
