Failed robbery leads to quick arrest

An attempted robbery in Dartmouth overnight was short lived.
At 1:15 a.m., a 28-year-old woman entered the Needs Convenience store at 303 Prince Albert Road and told the store she had a handgun.
“She threatened to shoot two of the employees and demanded cash,” explained Staff Sgt. Barb Saunders. “She walked away empty handed and was arrested nearby within minutes.”
Police didn’t find any weapons on the Halifax woman. She’s been charged with robbery and uttering death threats.She’ll have a bail hearing this morning.
