Four military personnel based in Halifax facing drug charges

The Canadian Force’s National Drug Enforcement team says four military personnel based at CFB Halifax are facing drug related charges.

The team sys Able Seaman Colin Beswick has been charged with trafficking and weapons charges.

Master Corporal Andrew Pollett, Able Seaman David Oldenhof and Ordinary Seaman Alexander Demontmorency have all been charged with posession of a controlled substance.

Three of the accused were posted to HMCS Halifax.

The case will now proceed through the military justice system.
