Police search for suspect involved in Duffus Street robbery

Halifax Regional Police are looking for a suspect involved in the robbery of a convenience store on Duffus Street on August 14.

Police were called around 1:30 a.m. after a report of a robbery at Needs Convenience at 5881 Duffus Street.

They say a man armed with a knife demanded then fled with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

No one was harmed in the incident.

Officers searched the area, but have not located the suspect.

Police are looking for a white man, around 30-years-old with a medium build and about 5’7″ tall.

He was wearing a black hat, mask and black and red jacket.
