Man arrested for assault following province-wide warrant

A North Preston man has been safely arrested following the issuance of a province-wide warrant.

The Halifax detachment of the RCMP arrested Lamelo Brandon Johnson, 22, with charges of assault, assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats (two counts).

He is described as 5’1″, about 160 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Officers made the plea for the public’s help after “several attempts” to find the accused.
