Transit workers walk; union bosses talk

Transit union bosses and city representatives met Sunday morning, while bus drivers marched in rallies throughout HRM streets.

More than 100 transit workers converged on the Holiday Inn in Dartmouth, while negotiations continued inside.

Halifax Regional Municipality transit workers will be in a legal strike position by Thursday morning. They have been without a contract since September.

Union members are also planning another rally at 5:00 p.m. at Grand Parade Square in downtown Halifax.
